Vote to ban early morning Saturdays!

I vote to ban Saturday mornings before 10am! Even though I had a lovely wake up call I was not ready or willing to get up at 6.50am! No amount of coaxing could convince me otherwise, but come 8am I gave up my fight to stay in bed. Charley Boy woke up, correction, Sparticus woke up and decided that today mummy is Ziggy and I am to 'watch' him as he jumps over my bed practicing his special dance moves! I tried suggesting he take up Maggie Simpson and just sit there...with the occassional crawl round the room but he was having none of it! With all the activity going on Jake woofed his way out of Kirsten's room, dived onto my bed and bit my nose. I toyed with the idea of throwing him out the darn window...but the appearance of Kirsten at the door stopped me!! :) Don't roll your eyes it was just metaphoric!! ;) Reluctantly I got out my pit, after reading some scriptures to Charley Boy, and found my darlin' daughter cooking pancakes! Now I dont mind her cooking (bring it on I say!!), and I dont mind pancakes once in a while but she's had pancakes every night since Tuesday...and now she's doing them for breakfast...HELP!!

I wasn't going to burst her bubble so I headed for the shower, to find Charley already there...nekked and trying to reach the on button...with dog under his arm! Yeah I got pictures super fast but I cant post them after poor Suzy got slagged off for a very innocent pic of her Ben being posted on her blog (and I will state that I am in total support of Suzy on this one, all the way!). So the funny image will have to be your own i'm afraid! :)

Life is quiet here today, I have a commission album that is due to be out on Friday, and three more that are due soon after as well as Ellie's book and some other projects i'm working on. The kids have been swimming (apart from the shower!) with some friends from church, then they were treated to a MacDonalds for lunch and due home anytime soon. I went on a search in my room for a particular ribbon that I KNEW I had, an hour later I found Charley's hospital tags from when I had him, along with the paper towel that the midwife left on the bed for me when I was in Bristol baby unit at 32 weeks, scan pictures, drawings off Kirsten and other notes that had been sent through my four hospital stays before I was induced. It was a real blast from the past, then I found his special care baby unit notes and that made me blubber...it was a sad time in our lives but as you can tell there's no stopping him now, he's a whirlwind of fun, laughter and total joy! Oh I love those happy endings, dont you?!

I'm all recovered from the emotions now...back to hopping around listeing to my ipod...with the dog looking at me like i'm more stupid than usual!

Wonder what to cook for Sunday dinner.....Jake!! :)
