Every now and again someone crosses your path and tugs at you for one reason or another. A few days ago I read about Ellie Wiseman's appeal to help her raise £5000 to go to Nevada to see some specialist doctors to help figure out her medical conditions...I've read her mum's blog, i've seen Ellie's you tube appeal and i've spent ages talking to her mum, Kirsty about it too and there's only two things that I can say: They are both amazing people and are so inspiring its unbelievable! Not only is Kirsty a fantastic photographer and scrapbooker but her humility hit me like a rock...I don't know what I truly expected because I sensed she was a decent person anyway! So I am making a pledge to the fund....and this post will be kept at the top of this blog until its completed!
Ok, I am designing and putting together a book for Ellie, now she and I are yet to begin talks on what she would like but when I have her ideas and instructions I shall be using the book as a class...and EVERY class that is sold will 100% go direct to Ellies fund. So more than making my website work, more than getting excited over a project I need and BEG (!!) you to buy the class, tell your friends, neighbours, family, work colleagues, ANYONE about it. To keep up with what is being raised I propose to list on my website all the people who have purchased the class, that way everyone can see how we are contributing to Ellie's fund!
Children are our greatest assets in this life......our own especially but others are a contributing factor to our future too! LETS GET ELLIE TO NEVADA!!!
Below is a few links for you to find out more about Ellie's plight....PLEASE go check them out, lets support this little girl who deserves all she can to find out about her condition and hopefully get the treatment, advice and understanding of what, why, how and all the other questions I imagine that she and her parents are asking!
So, I hope we can spend a few minutes forwarding this page link to all the people you can think of. However busy we are lets not look back and regret not helping a cute, adorable and intelligent child who only wants to understand her own health situation!! All kids deserve that much!
If anyone has any questions about Ellie's Project then please email me: debbie.willson@yahoo.co.uk I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can!
Good luck and Thank you in advance!!!
