This, that and whatever

Why do I log in to blogger and experience a few minutes of stomach wrenching butterflies, knots and churns? I mean, what is going to happen? This has happened ever since i've been blogging and even now i'm still unsure what my gut is trying to tell me!!
Anyway, its been a funny ole week here, nothing totally off the wall happened but something is achanging, I think much of it is indirectly related to the not smoking and how settled I am with Duane, not sure how to word it more than that right now so i'll leave it there!
My mum and Scott came today for a few hours, it was so good to see them, for the second time in a month!!! Charley was a complete show off to his big brother, holding the most riveting and grown up conversation about the dinosaur on the rooftop of the house opposite! He 'humoured' my mum and decided he wanted to go see 'Scott's house and sleep in his bed'! He was so funny and obviously loving having Scott around! I love seeing how each of my boys just fall under Charley's spell each time they see him or when we put the webcam on, Charley is so lucky to have brothers that love and enjoy him so much. Scott was also mesmerized by Kirsten's fast changing attitude and appearance. I think he was stunned when Kirsten went out the door and shouted 'see you later, i'll text you', not that she'd gone out but the fact that she was allowed to meet 4 of her friends in Gloucester town centre! She knows the strict rules though, and she believes I have people on the lookout who will report back to me...especially when I say something randomly and give her 'the look', if i'm near the truth her facial expression gives it away!! Oh how I laugh, but thankfully it's only silly things that are irrelavent, if it was more I dont know how i'd react!!! Lol
I treated myself to a new pair of trousers today and three tops, nothing spectacular but a change from what I'm wearing at the moment, and believe me I could do with a change, in fact I could do with a make over to just boost myself up a bit. I saw some boots that I was very tempted to get, but Scott gave me away to my mum and revealed that I have a similar pair in brown already. Busted! I might be 39 but my mum is still the boss!! :) However, busted or not I decided to book Kirsten and I into a hairdressers for later this week, our mobile hairdresser is sick at the moment but we are impatient! Then after we've had our hair done we're off to the nail salon, Kirsten will have hers polished and filed into shape while I will have acrylics again. Total girlie splurge but I think we are worth it. Hair dressers £xx, Nail Salon £xx, Happiness £priceless!!
I decided to pick up a new router while I was out today, the wireless has broken on the one I have so I was stuck to using the cable, which is now driving me nuts. So, bright spark here figured I knew what I was doing, I'm not some thick chick...err..WRONG! I only went and picked up a gaming hub thing!! Doh So good ole mum took me back into Gloucester, rip roaring where she could thinking PC World closes at 6 only to find that it was all for nothing, its open till 8! I then proceeded to spend 35 minutes waiting for someone to serve me...I coughed, I whistled, I stamped my foot and I approached THREE people who 'were busy' whilst to me they looked busy...talking about the upcoming roadshow somewhere!! If I didn't want this router so badly i'd have got mean and nasty, but I figured if I done that they might not change the gaming hub...so I was on my bestest behaviour. Thankfully someone took pity on me and came to my aid...at last I was set free from PC World!! Be warned, once you're in they dont like to let you out...even if you buy!! :( Now, 5 hours later I find that I cant install it cos the settings isn't accepting my internet providers login details and i'm way too tired to be put on hold for their 24/7 technical support! Doh, I think there's a conspiracy somewhere!! :)
On the work front, I have finally received the security clearance to teach four local schools scrapbooking! I had almost forgotten all about it, its been that long. So now I have to chase up the schools concerned and get arranging for the sessions. I do have ideas on how to plan out the 10 week courses, enabling the kids to start and finish a project and learn at least 8 techniques and all the standard principles...plus some other stuff. This is going to be fun! I'm hoping I can get permission from parents and the school to take photos of the kids in action...it would be great to have my own photos to journal the memory!
I had an idea for a book last night so I anchored on to the kitchen door handle and dived into my dining room...which believe me is in no way looking like a dining room...or any room for that matter that hasnt had a run in with a bomb...I might brave it and post a photo tomorrow! Lol
Scott decided to have a look for my hair cutters while I was back at PC World, I asked him to leave the boxes in my already small kitchen so I could work through them...and yeehaaa I found the 5 lids to my cast iron saucepans....but haven't a clue where the pans are to them!! Lmao Cos I steam our foods, I find I have only needed the one small saucepan (which I found back in October when my stuff came from storage!!) so now i'm on an exciting crusade to find the missing 4 pans!!! LOL Oh the excitement!! As if that's not enough, I found that Scott had bought out 3 boxes of stash...now I dont mean small boxes, I mean 3 times the size of walkers crisp boxes! You'd think i'd be jumping for joy eh? Nope, I actually feel quite sick in my stomach...my bedroom is swallowed up with my desk and stash, my dining room has been invaded by paper products and such and now my kitchen has been invaded...and I know there are more boxes of the stuff in the remaining shed!!! Oh the sheer hell of it...and I mean that truly! I just dont have the space that I once had. So looks like my mum, sister and daughter in law is going to get a whole lot more stash to their collection! (Sorry Elaine....if I have to have a stash crash area you have too!!! Hehehe)
I wonder how long i've waffled for...its taken me about three hours to do this post...I cant remember what I started out blogging! Still, dont matter...its MY waffle anyways! :)
Time to go now, have another busy day tomorrow!!
