I love it when the sun is shining, its like a massive smile all around me! I do all sorts of stuff in record time when its sunny, i change all my bedding and put white sets on each bed, change all my curtains and just clean clean clean...before I start on the garden!
Today i've got white beds in the three rooms, crisp curtains up in all the rooms I have curtains in, i've gutted one of my two 'pantries' out and refilled the bin that the bin men emptied this morning!! Charley and Jake have been up the top of the garden climbing up the tree, both are all muddied up and desperately need a shower. Charley was so worn out he took himself off to his bed, put his Bob the Builder blanket on top of it and lay down...he's now a fast asleep muddy boy!! Lol
So i'm procrastinating on here...me and a glass of ice cold lemon and lime water! Browsing through my emails, sifting through the junk folder but nothing but rude stuff that promises to enlarge my ''tool''! Sometimes i'm tempted to reply back with something quirky but that would just confirm my email is in use!! Bloody spammers!!
My Sunday was another happy day, we went to church and had some excellent lessons, had good, funny and silly chats afterwards then had a gorgeous Sunday dinner. Kirsten and Charley played in the garden, the dog chased his imaginary friend again and I took loads of pictures that were naff cos the colour has gone on the camera and i'm waiting for the manufactureres to send me the appropriate envelope to send it back! Hopefully they'll let me upgrade again this time, its not been the best camera that i've had.
Life here in Gloucester is very different to anything i'm used to, I get stared at when I walk down the road, and thats by adults! Before I leave the house I always check that I have only got one head on, no big warts on my nose and am not walking like a duck...ok so I dont always manage not waddling but a big coat and its hardly noticable...honest!! :) Seriously though, I find it very intimidating at times. I dont think i'll stay here longer than I have to, though where I will go i'm not sure, I haven't found that place yet where I belong anywhere. That's not intended as a sad thought, it's just my idle thoughts spilling out my full head!
A friend of ours from church has horses, they invited us along to spend the day riding and just having fun with them. I think i'm more excited than Kirsten, even though she loves them! We used to have 13 horses, one a show horse, one a shire horse and 11 abused ones from various ages. By the time we rehomed them the abused ones were happy, confident and very loving. Gone were their fears and sad looking faces, it was a fantastic but difficult two years with them. One of them, Sofie, decided that she was going to adopt me and each time I went to move from her she'd gently put her foot on mine to stop me!! Lol Our show horse, George was a natural poser, each time anyone looked at him he'd stand out in the perfect pose! He won first place in every show I went to, if I had to miss any then he'd come 2nd...every time! Sam, the shire horse would refuse to move anywhere till he'd had two sugar lumps (and he could count!!) and a cup of tea..then he'd do anything we asked of him!! Lmao Oooh I loved those horses! If we were in a different part of town I'd get one for Kirsten, horses are just so cool! *~*~sigh~*~*
Ok I think my procrastinating is over for now...I have an album to finish for Friday and I need to stay on target with it....else I dont get paid!! :)
