Hot chocolate and Jaffa cakes

I had the most lovely dream this morning then I woke up truly believing that someone was in my bed. My body froze cos I knew it wasn't possible, Kirsten was at her friends for a sleepover and I could hear Charley playing in his room. Slowly I turned over to find Kirsten's 10" high black fur ball laying next to me with his paw over my neck...snoring! Just my luck I can tell ya!
The wind was howling, rain was trying to get in through the windows and I had to go out! Nice! After getting Kirsten home, digging out extra winter wear I finally had two kids looking like multi-coloured puff men, one complaining that she did not 'look cool and would just die if she saw anyone she knew' and the other think it was great that he was going into the 'rainy day'! So off we went, Charley to his dad and Kirsten with me...for a hot chocolate, do a bit of shopping and then gorge on a pack of jaffa cakes on the way back! All that sugar was somewhere between an apology and total glutany cos I forgot where I put the kids advent calendars! Amazing what a bribe can do if you know where to hit!! Lol
Jake, Kirsten's little puppy learnt a few new commands thanks to his new liking of jaffa cakes, he's so eager to please that 2/3 times at showing him what he want him to do he gets it...then when he has enough he sits up close and spits out the bit he doesn't want...almost as though he's giving it you for being good!!! Lol Bless!
No photos on this blog yet cos my camera is (yet again) being fixed. It should be winging its way back to me now but so far no news. Fingers crossed its nothing too severe though, i'm so lost without it!
Today Kirsten and I spent some time baking cookies, cheese bread and making a few cards. I chatted to some of the girls on two of the yahoo groups I go on and got roped in to hosting a new years resolution planner...that will be great fun and should most definately get me scrapbooking again!
I've come to the conclusion that pre-packed furniture is just fine until the instructions are used, then we are bugger*d! I have a 10 drawer chest of Kirsten's that we were working on and all went well till I found one piece that didn't go anywhere...till I read the instructions...and then I was even more confuddled! Now its in the spare parts tin till the whole thing falls apart!! Just two wardrobes to go then i'm done with pre-packed furniture, I hate it!!
Now, it's off to bed...my toes are cold!
