What happens when your over worked? Pt 2

Dipstick Dipstick Dipstick thats all I can say.

When Kirsten was off school resting her knee she had Good Friday and Easter Monday off, what I didn't know was that she should have been back at school last Tuesday! It was only because Jackie, the lady who is helping Kirsten with the bullying situation, knocked the door to see if we are ok! How stupid?!!! So now I have to drive 90 miles in one direction to drop the boys off to Angie at my mums then come back and go 50 in the other direction to pick up Kirsten from her nans!

To add to my ever growing list of numbing brain cells I posted out 4 letters last week, they arrived safely but i'd sent the wrong letters to the wrong people! Thankfully it wasn't anything controversial or personal but its now jolted me to realise that its all well and good being so busy but when mistakes like this happen its time to re-evaluate! So whilst i'm driving today I shall be doing just that.

I set out to only do projects for my website and the occassional workshop but how can someone say no when they are asked to share something with others? I cant keep what i've learnt about scrapbooking to myself! I dont consider myself a professional or particularly talented like some gorgeous stuff i've seen around but I do consider that my angle is worth sharing because I am a total believer in recording our lives, loves, laughs and other memories for future generations to come. Maybe thats just my feeling as Geneology is such an imperative thing in the Lds church and working on my own family history gave me a sense of worth and belonging, so if I can reach out to others to do the same and have some fun with it along the way then why would I not do so?! I very much appreciate the opportunities I have and have had so far, I will continue doing them and enjoying them, but I just have to remember to take time out for more than a few hours sleep, after all, without a life what do we have?!!

On the bright side though, the sun is shining, its relatively warm out and its definitely a sunglasses day!! :)

So why am I sat here? Well, because I am yet to get motivated! The boys (Charley, Kian and Ty) are out in the garden playing on the trampoline and with the balls, the dog is sat right behind me on the chair (and i'm amazed that my butt still fits on it!!) and I have to wait to hear from my mum so I know she is in...rather than go all the way down there and hang around! **sigh**

Last day of March...where has this year gone to? I say that every year but I really have lost the plot this year with how much work that has come my way. I am so grateful for the blessings of it all, and 99% of it is only from word of mouth! My poor website is taking the hit for it but on the up side I am almost ready to load a couple of projects, just have some finishing touches to do, so that will probably be the weekend now before they are uploaded. To date I have the Tag Book and an 8" x 8" flip book ..... the theme of which I will divulge nearer to it being uploaded! :D I think it will be liked a lot :D
