I found something

And I had forgotten all about it! It is a little forum I done last year, just messing around....I haven't (that I remember) shared it with anyone but I figured I would now...and see if anyone is interested! I'm not going to make a big thing of it as yet, I am far too busy to take something else on right now but if anyone does join then I shall definitely keep up with it and make sure I take it on!! :)

So the weekend is here and I am again hoping to get out of these four walls and get some air in my lungs. I am sure that it smells different out there than it does in my back garden!! I love working, I love being busy, I love making stuff and I love the opportunities that are coming my way, the only downside is I dont have the kinda time I used to to actually enjoy the other side of it....photography...which is probably a good thing at the moment with the camera acting up! But I have my beady eye on another that I am still hoping the insurance company will allow me to upgrade to, a Fuji would be soo cool, I've decided on that! :)

Charley is spending his first full weekend with his dad now which saved me a trip cos he decided to collect him. I'm sure Charley will be ok but I know after being away from me for over a week he wanted his mummy...however in my desperate attempt to build bridges with him I figured this might be the magic card that works..and voila...for the first time in 9 months 'he' actually had a civil few words to say to me!! Now I feel like a rock is off my shoulders, if only for a weekend. Now I have arranged to go and spend a couple of days with Jay next week, probably Thursday cos I cant shift all the commitments I have till then. It'll be great to get away and just chill out with him, Leanne and Elaine :) Duane and I called it a day a few weeks ago, one thing and another lead us to believe that we are better as friends. We are ok with that and I feel it was the right decision. Life is sweet, I have no complaints! :)

Thanks to Leanne I am so chuffed to show off my lil man over the side there.....aint he just HOT?!!

Due to the un-magicness of Firefox I have sat here for 4 hours tonight hand writing down all the blogs, sites and links that I use regular because I dont think I trust Firefox anymore. I had to go through what feels like hell to recover them but after that escapade i'm taking nothing to chance! If only there was a way to save the links on here that I could just print or save to a folder...if there is...please tell me!!! :)

I was thinking about my Dad yesterday, (regardless of my blunder post about Mothers Day!!!) and each year my brother, sister and I get even more confuddled on what to do for him or what to buy him. He isn't one for eating out, he has all the music he likes going back eons (sorry dad, didn't mean to imply you're that old!! hehe) and he pretty much has all he needs, so what am I going to do? Well, I remember when my boys were 2/3 and I didn't have much money so I put together one of those multi photo frames for him, he loves photos of his 11 grandkids so after much thought I kinda figure that as long as its not too girly or frilly he would appreciate a few items that he can use, and have the grandkids faces on! Now some of this stuff is still in progress cos getting photos off my brother is as good as impossible! So i'm waiting for my sister to dig some out...but right now she's away at my mums.........did I just drone on there? Dont worry, I bore myself sometimes too :D So, back to the point in hand, as soon as Angie gets her butt in gear I can finish the final part of my Special Collection!! For a man that does not do the softer, (considered) feminine things in life but will travel 13 miles to get his grandkids from school and take them 200 yards home is not an easy man to buy for...not in the craft world anyway!

So thats one of the things i'm working on at the moment. I am also working on (and half completed) a Tag Book that is intended for a small child. Charley loves the tins I make or the boxes I convert and will often have one hiding in his lil Bob the Builder suitcase and believe me, getting it out is almost like fighting with a pitbull!! So as he is currently learning to read and loves animals I have chosen to put the two together in an easy to view tag book. As per, when its on my site i'll post it here...or as per, you can subscribe to my newsletter!! How bout that for a novel idea!! :D Other things i'm working on....let me see...I have an 8 x 8 book coming up....thats something about Love...go figure!! Hehe Last but not least I am also at the planning stage of a recipe box...so it really would be a good idea to sign up to my newsletter!!! :) Get the message? Sign up to my newsletter!! :D

Ok i'm tired!! You can tell huh? Gee thanks!! :P Now i'm off to me bed to relax and maybe watch a movie...rather fancy Princess Diaries meself!

Oooh who likes Patrick Swayze? Ok ok calm down!! I was reading on his site about his treatment...he is way too talented, fit and sxc to submit to cancer, I for one am totally rooting and praying for him. Just thought i'd mention that. Cos I can!!
