Smoooze Me, Mum!

Don't kids say the sweetest things? Last night Kirsten and I were sat at the dining table talking about her baptism next week when Charley came in and wanted to get past me...'smoooze me, mum' he said. Oh how we giggled at his cuteness! Kirsten loves to help him say the words he cant properly pronounce yet, which gives him so much more confidence. He is pretty hot on his words though, including his vocabulary. Each night we do a family prayer in his room, he hands Kirsten and I one of his cushions gets one for himself and we kneel down by his bed...size order!! Charley will then say the prayer....and look so pleased with himself when he's said the emphatic Amen at the end!! Last night, as normal I said to him, 'goodnight sweetheart, sweet dreams', he looks at me, winks and says 'goodnight sweetheart'!! Oh how I just giggled! Just the other day we went for a walk to the shop and he heard some sounds in the distance, looking up to me he said 'whats that sound mum?', I say 'its the workmen somewhere using tools', he says 'oh. its not a volcano is it?' I look down at him and hold a smile, 'no son, its not a volcano, we're safe'. I am constantly amazed, amused and touched by how intelligent he is. He's like a sponge for learning and knowledge and goes to show just how much they pick up from their enviroment. He wears a nappy to bed still, but clean through the day but while i've had no car I do put a nappy on him if we have to go out. Today he's decided that he cant be bothered with the toilet upstairs and its cool to wear a nappy but 'go' on the potty...Diego interuption at a minimum!!

I finally have my car sitting back outside my house!!! It's all shiny and pretty!!! We are about to go out in a min, have lots to do now including some food shopping! The kids are looking a bit thin!! :) JOKE!! So shortly we are off to Asda...cos thats where they have Sporticus (Lazy Town) duvet cover that i've promised the lil guy. Kirsten is walking normal again now, she still gets some pain in her back if theres too long a gap between her meds but she's feeling much better. At the moment its honking it down with rain and she's chasing the dog round the back garden trying to get the little rat in!! :D Never a working camera when I need one!!

Talking of cameras, Kirsty gave me a fab tip for another one yesterday so i'm looking into Fuji's right now. I originally wanted a Canon but after researching and listening to what Kirsty was saying they are ideal for professional photography, scrapbookers dont really need that spec. As she's the expert i've taken her advice and done my research on the two that she suggested, and one of them is almost on order...i'm so very tempted!! Before I do though I shall wait and see what my insurance company say about the one I have cos this is about the 4th time its gone for repairs since i've had it and i have 4 years left on the warranty yet which wont get carried over to a new one unless I purchase it from Curry's (where I took out the insurance policy). Definitely a scam doing on there!! :)

I have lots to say on here but I cant remember it all...so i'm going to go do something else and i'll probably come back on later...:)

Ooohh...did you feel that earthquake the other night? I was lay on my sofa, the house was nice n quiet and I was convinced someone was hacking through my dining room wall right next to me....then I realised the whole house was shaking....I ran to the other side of the room, leaving the dog on the sofa....with my laptop in hand...what I thought that was going to do I dont know but Jake looks at me a bit wearily now!! :D

Ok....SMOOOZE ME while I go do other stuff! Have a great Friday night :)
