Sunday waffle :)

I have taken the liberty to email my friends and 'associates' the link to my new site, this morning when I logged on I was amazed at what I found in my inbox....32 newsletter sign ups and messages of congrats, compliments and excitement that I am finally offering classes again! WOW! All I can say is I am truly amazed and humbled by this response...thank you!!
I now have to get a skaboodle on with getting the first class how I want it to get it uploaded before I start getting ear bashed! Lol
My 'life' in the scrapbooking world has taken a back seat lately, not only because I have been working on the site, classes, downloads and all that but because I have been making house. Since moving here last September I knew things were going to get good again, if not better than before. Thanks to a friend of mine I have now got a home that I'm proud of, by far is it a show home but somewhere that I can look around and see the materialistic enjoyment that we are living in. Having Jake (Kirsten's puppy) has been a fantastic blessing to us all, well maybe apart from him cos when Charley's around the poor dog gets transported to places I don't think he wants to go! Jake is a black ball with a personality of his own...and a wonderful one at that! :) Just look how darn cute he is.....

As you can see, Jake doesn't mind where he flops, he fits anywhere and to date we've found him in some strange places...one of them being inside the mop bucket! Luckily it was empty at the time! :) I guess like most dogs, when one of us get up to go somewhere, Jake will wait till we've left the room, jump up and run to follow us, then he has the idea that he knows where we are going and tries to get there before us...only we end up either standing on him or tripping over him! I don't ever bother counting the times i've landed on my butt! Now we call him the stalker!!
My gorgeous daughter has a singing session in a studio and a photoshoot with all the clothes and accessories she could dream of...she is growing up, blooming and maturing faster than I ever imagined, but then i'm used to boys more than girls. Since being in this girls arts college she has moved from one step to another missing quite a few in between, its amazing watching the transition in her. This is my princess now...

Kirsten is the 2nd of my kids that has been invited to attend a photoshoot and offered the opportunity to do some modelling work! Not sure what Kirsten will do, but me personally will support her in whatever choice she makes. I'm confident she's going to stick to vetinary work in the future though, as much as she's a girly girl and loves this new period in her life I dont think she's totally into it as a way of life, and in a quiet way, I'm grateful for that. I would like to get some family photos done professionally, but somehow it's not very forthcoming. Twice i've made plans and twice i've had to cancel them. Very annoying and frustrating! So my plan this year is to get them done, once and for all...kids grow up faster than their fashion fads and I don't want to miss more than I have to! So, any good photographers around? :) :)
So, Sunday being as they are in our home, I am now off to bake some Postman Pat cakes with Charley then generally hang out with him till Kirsten comes home...then we will do whatever goes....:) Perrfect!
