Blah

Is it still procrastinating when you sit and stroke your new craft stuff? I have been sent a gorgeous gift parcel by my friend Sharron for doing her album of her pregnancy and the first year of Callum's life. For me it was a paid commission that was such a lovely project, that evoked so many of my own maternal feelings, reminiscences and funny stories with each of my own four children. Having total free reign and no time limit I was able to totally test things out, try new things and basically do what I like with it..so after four months I finally had the great pleasure to hand the completed book back this morning. She cried, she laughed, she ooh'd, she aarr'd, she giggled, she gasped...and thats just at the memories that were threw out to her as she browsed the pages. I wanted her to say she loved the book but more than that I wanted her to say that each page told the story...and I think I achieved that. To me thats what scrapbooking is all about, the essence is the story, not the embellishment or the layout...they come later. So, as I was saying I have a gorgeous gift box of stuff that is sitting on my desk in my room looking so darned gorgeous I'm not sure i'll ever be able to use them!! I'm gonna babble about them now so if you dont like boasting, then tough, sign off now!!

I got:
6 sheets of bazzill scallopped cardstock
6 sheets of matching cardstock
6 sheets of matching patterned cardstock
4 packs of ribbons (5m in each pack)
BG mono letters
MM metal letters
2 sheets of K & Co quotes
4 ink pads
4 stamps
4 assorted adhesives
1 grungeboard (whatever that is!!!)
plus there is a selection of various shaped and sized boxes
6 sheets A4 mountboard

So, looks like I have some new decorations for my bedroom!! :D So, THANKS Sharron, i'm luvvin ya more today!!! :P

Just had a call from the garage, there is three complete days worth of work on my car! I really didn't hit that car THAT hard! So its going to be Tues/Wed next week before I get my mini merc back...I'm so lost without it, I'm beholden to the bus service where it is common to have drugged up piss heads on it at any given time of the day. Not something I appreciate I tell ya. But thats this part of Gloucester for ya! Roll on when I get out of here.

On that note, i'm looking at somewhere about 12 miles from here, just a little village but a straight run to Kirsten's school, plenty of fields, a large secured park area, 1 primary school, 6 shops and only 1 through road...just my kinda place! So i'm researching into that at the moment, though nothing is guaranteed though.

If anyone knows of a blog attachment that reminds you to follow up on things please let me know, not a calendar, they aren't useful to my kind of mental disability! If there's no such thing then can someone please make one?!!! I am forever remembering something I said I was gonna do, show, tell or something when its something like 6am 6 weeks later! I dont want to be awake at that unnatural time of the morning much less be think! So if there is any genius out there, who just happened to stumble on this waffle blog then please feel free to write me up a memory attachment that will do my thinking for me and if possible...keep me in mint aeros!!! :D

So...who wants to share my BIG bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Turkish Delight chocolate??? Or there is a massive bar of mint aero (my total fave right now) or there's caramel....Line up nicely...and no pushing, shuving, hitting, pinching, kicking, shouting or swearing!!! :D
